Contrary to reports linking Abdul Baba Rahman to a permanent deal to Schalke O4, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte would rather like to see the player go for another loan spell.
Schalke are reportedly keen to snatch the left-back who is still recuperating after a horrific injury on a permanent basis after the player fell out at Chelsea.
Baba Rahman lost his Chelsea first team place following the arrival of Antonio Conte who took over from Jose Mourinho.
The defender was sent out on loan to Schalke where he had a decent spell before suffering a setback during international duties with the Black Stars team.
With the January transfer window still in session, there has been speculation over the 23-year-old’s future with the English Club.
However Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to see the player go for another loan spell at the Bundesliga Club rather than an outright transfer as preffered by the royal blues (Schalke).
Conte says on Baba Rahman, who is recovering from a bad injury, that it could be an interesting option for him to continue that on loan at Schalke where he was previously.
