French Ligue 1 side SM Caen might move for Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris from Lorient.
Reports in the French media hints Lorient are prepared to do business with interested Clubs after receiving some offers.
Portuguese giants FC Porto were reported to be in the lead for the attacker however fresh reports imminent from France indicate Caen is the latest Club to show interest.
Waris is also said to be interested in remaining in France rather than moving elsewhere for a new encounter.
Caen therefore has 19 days to seal a move for the 26-year-old forward who is also willing to leave Lorient after the team got demoted from the top-flight last season.
The Ghanaian international could not land deals with English Premiership sides Burnley and West Ham United during the summer transfer but keen to secure a move this time around.
The goal poacher became an option for Caen who was refused a chance to sign fellow Ghanaian Patrick Twumasi from Kazakhstani Champions Astana.
After spells with Valencienne and Lorient, Caen could be the third French Club for the vigorous striker.
