Ghana striker Priscilla Adubea ended Africa’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers as a joint top scorer.
The attacker notched 10 goals in five matches for the Black Princesses.
The Ampem Darkoaa Ladies forward got off her goal scoring spree in Ghana’s 5-0 demolishing over Algeria in Cape Coast having missed the first leg match in Algiers.
Adubea again scored four times in the team’s qualifier against Kenya in Ghana and also got three goals in the reverse fixture played in Nairobi to increase her goal tally to eight.
The reigning National Women’s League goal queen got the equalizer as the Black Princesses drew 1-1 with Cameroon in the first leg match at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé a fortnight ago.
Her goal in Ghana’s 3-0 drubbing over Cameroon in Cape Coast on Saturday saw her finish the qualifiers on 10 goals making her one of the two highest scorers.
Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade who was previously on eight goals also scored a brace in their 6-0 demolishing over South Africa.
Meanwhile Olivia Anokye and Helena Obeng also of Black Princesses fame all scored three goals each in the qualifiers.
