Ghanaian Paralympic Athlete, Yussif Amadu is unhappy with the treatment meted out to him by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Paralympic Committee after his terrible accident at the 2017 Para Athletics Championships in London.
Amadu, who was Ghana’s only representative in the T42 High Jump competition suffered a head injury at the competition.
The Para Athlete has express grief over the “ill-treatment” from authorities who looked to have neglected the sportsman.
“All my effort to meet the Sports Minister proved futile, so as I speak to you now I don’t know whether he knows about my condition or not,” he said in an interview with Asempa FM.
“The National Paralympic Committee has not done anything to help me,all they keep telling me is ,it shall be well”.
“The Federation is doing well but what I have observed is that they don’t have the balls to face those in authority”.
“All I want is for them to give me my money so I can buy my medicines”,he added.
Yussif Amadu won Gold in the 2015 Desert challenge Games and placed seventh in the 2016 Olympic games in Rio .
