Elmina Sharks FC have announced the signing of seven new players who have had Ghana Premier League experience to play for them in the 2017/2018 football season.

The players are expected to beef up the team ahead of the new season.

Ofoe Ofotsu, Benjamin Arthur, Emmanuel Essuman, Theophilus Adom, Richard Mpong, Sampson Eduku and Tanko Mohammed were the players unveiled by the Elmina- based club.

Ofoe Ofotsu and Benjamin Arthur were signed from Great Olympic, whiles Richard Mpong and Tanko Mohammed were captured from Aduana Stars, with Sampson Eduku coming from Karela FC and Emmanuel Esuman staging a come-back after  his successful playing spell with Ebusua Dwarfs and Samartex football club respectively.

Meanwhile, Sharks have also extended the contracts of ten new players namely, Captain Daniel              Obeng Crensil, Samuel Arthur, Emmanuel Ampiah, Joseph Essam, Joshua Opoku, Issaac Quainoo, Isaac Mensah, Suraj Ibrahim, Eric Osei and Ebenezer Coleman who is recovering from the injury he sustained last year.

The 2017/ 2018 Ghana Premier league was slated for 11th February, 2018 but this has hit the block due to an injunction put on it by the court.
