Kotoko striker Saddick Adams believes luck was not on their side as they managed a narrow 1-0 win over CARA Brazzaville in the first leg of the preliminary rounds in the CAF Confederations Cup.
It took a late penalty goal by striker Yakubu Mohammed who came off the bench to score his kick after the Reds had missed three crucial spots kicks in the cause of the game.
The dramatic encounter saw five penalties awarded with the Porcupine Warriors winning four of those penalties.
However Saddick Adams, Amos Frimpong and Baba Mahama all missed their kicks before Yakubu Mohammed came on to score in the dying embers of the game.
Saddick Adams who was a culprit himself after missing a 5th minute penalty says luck eluded his side.

A good result in the return game will see the Ghanaian giants progress to the next round of the competition.
