In the heat of the Ghana FA President and his Communications Director accusing the Ghanaian media of running down the country’s top-flight league, the official website of GFA has managed to construct a 14-club league table instead of 16.
The GFA’s official website – www.ghanafa.org published a 14-club league table after match day three games were honoured on Wednesday.
Newly-promoted side Techiman XI Wonders and Berekum Chelsea were axed from the new table.
This is not the first time the GFA has recorded errors and factual inaccuracies on their website about the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana Premier League is the flagship brand of the Ghana FA being run by the Premier League Board, a subbrand of the GFA.
For four seasons on a trot, the league has run without a headline sponsor.
Individual clubs have secured sponsorship mostly from sports betting companies who have flooded the Ghanaian market.
After struggling to draw headline sponsorship the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Communication Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara are on record to have accused the media of running down the league.
The latest inaccuracies in reporting about their own brand speaks volumes about the brand positioning of their products from their own perspective.
In recent meet the press encounters both the FA President and Communications Director has suggested that the Ghana Premier League trending on Twitter means the numerous challenges bedevilling the game locally should be swept under the carpet because the league is popular on Twitter.
