As part of their preparation for the 2018 Africa Women’s Nations Cup, Ghana’s Black Queens have lined up a friendly against Canada, Ghanasportsonline.com has revealed.
Canada, one of the World’s powerhouses in women football have written to the Ghana football Association requesting for an international friendly against the Africa giants.
Coach Mercy Tagoe and her team recently played former World Champions Japan, a game they were thrashed 7-1.
Canada could however be the next opponents for the Black Queens after an international friendly against Morocco was confirmed.
Ghana will be hosting the Africa Women’s Championship for the first time in November this year hence not playing a part in the qualifiers.
