Swansea City lost 2-1 at home to Stoke City in the final day of the English Premier League to dash their hopes of surviving in the League.
The Swans were hoping to pick maximum points and hope for a favorable results in the game between Southampton and Manchester City.
Andre Ayew set up Andy King to put Swansea in front in 14 minutes.
Badou N’Diaye drew Stoke level on the half hour mark before Peter Crouch got the match-winner 4 minutes to the end of the first half.
The result sees Swansea City finishing the season with 33 points hence joins West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City as the three relegated sides.
Both Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew will thus be joining Albert Adomah in the English Championship next season should the stay at the Club.
Jordan Ayew ended the season as Swansea City’s best player and top scorer after netting seven times.
