Former Ghana Premier League midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was in full time action for St. Gallen in their 2-1 home win over Norwegian Eliteserien side Sarpsborg 08 in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
The 20-year-old midfielder wearing the No. 4 jersey started the game and played till the final whistle as his side claimed the maximum points.
The former WAFA midfielder joined the Greens from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg on loan.
Gallen finished the game with ten men after central defender Milan Vilotic was sent off in the 5th minute.
The visitors took the lead immediately after his sending off but the Ghanaian steeled the middle as his side forged a strong come-from-behind to nick the crucial win.
