Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar have included Ghanaian teenager Myron Boadu in their squad for their UEFA Europa League clash with Kazakhstan Premier League side Kairat Almaty on Thursday.
The 17-year-old has been called up by manager John van den Brom following his impressive form in pre-season.
Boadu was promoted to the first team squad of the Dutch side after he convinced the first team handlers of his abilities.
He trained with the squad on Wednesday when they arrived in Kazakhstan.
The offensive midfielder scored for Alkmaar when they won 5-0 against Panathinaikos.
He has stated his readiness to fight for a first team spot despite having to do that around experienced players.
