Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah looks to be enjoying his preseason with Inter Milan as he impressed in Inter Milan’s preseason friendly against Russia Club Zenith St. Petersburg.
The 29-year-old was handed a chance to play in midfield after a while.
Asamoah who previously played as a left-back for Inter Milan in their preseason friendly against Lugano was re-assigned to his original position in midfield.
The player was up to the task with his usual exploits in the middle of the pitch.
Antonio Candreva opened the score for Inter Milan with a stunning strike in the 16th minute before Christian Noboa drew level for Zenith 9minutes later.
Inter Milan Captain Mauro Icardi restored the lead for the Italian giants after converting from the penalty spot. The lead will however be cut shot by an equalizer from Róbert Mak.
Hernani Azevedo Júnior shot Zenith into the lead for the first time with an incredible strike before Lautaro Martínez drew Inter back on level terms.
Kwadwo Asamoah however made way in the second half of the game.
