Players of the Black Princesses team received $100 each from the head of Ghana’s liaison team Dr. Kofi Amoah ahead of FIFA World Cup.
The businessman dished out $23,000 from his pocket to players as a sign of motivation ahead of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The kind gesture was shown during the Liaison team’s interaction with the playing body of the Black Princesses ahead of the World Cup.
Dr. Kofi Amoah however urged the players to give out their best at the competition.
“Ghanaians want you all to give your best and make the country proud, go out there and conquer the World.
“We are fully behind you and we are going to give you every support you need.
“Go out there and show the World the is a team called the Black Princesses”
Dr. Kofi Amoah, chairman of the local organizing committee for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations was mandated to head a FIFA/CAF liaison team which will temporarily stir football activities after government took measures to dissolve football activities in the country.
