The Black Princesses of Ghana became the first team to crash out of the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after losing 4-0 to the Netherlands.
Ghana’s World Cup predicament continued unabated after failing to get past the group stage for the fifth successive time.
The Black Princesses dreams at this year’s World Cup was dashed by the humiliating defeat to the Netherlands having suffered a 4-1 loss at the hands of host France in their opening match.
France’s 0-0 stalemate with New Zealand in the other group match meant the Black Princesses becomes the first country to exit the competition.
Ghana will take on New Zealand in the final group game as an academic exercise.
