Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has denied a 23-man squad purported to be his selected players for next month’s Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
A list circulated in the media with claims that it was Kwesi Appiah squad to face the Hambree Stars.
The supposed squad excluded the likes of Captain Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew.
Kwesi Appiah says he is yet to release his team for the game.
“The thing is I don’t know who brought the list out, we’ve not brought our list out, hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday the list will be out. But as to who brought the list out I don’t know,” Kwesi Appiah told Ghanaweb TV on Monday during the launch of the J.A. Kufuor Foundation Cup.
The Black Stars will travel for their second group game against Kenya after defeating Ethiopia in their opening match in the group.
