Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie has joined Spanish second-tier side Sporting Gijon after leaving Italian side Genoa.
The 27-year-old becomes the latest Ghanaian player to move to the Spain after Black Stars pair Patrick Twumasi and Raphael Dwamena moved to the La Liga this week.
Cofie has signed a two-year-deal and will be hoping to secure promotion for the Segunda Division side.
The workaholic midfielder spent 10 seasons in Italy playing for six clubs including Genoa, Torino, Chievo Verona, Sassuolo, Piacenza, and Carpi.
