After defeating Cote d’ Ivoire in the semi-finals of the WAFU 17 Championship, Ghana will take on nemesis Nigeria in the finals on Saturday.
The Black Starlets secured a place at the finals after beating Cote d’ Ivoire 2-1 on Wednesday with goals coming from Umar Mohammed and Tauriq Shaibu Saydou Troare had netted for the Ivorians.
Nigeria defeated host Niger 2-1 in the other semi-final clash to book a place at the finals.
The Black Starlets will now take on the Eaglets in what is expected to be a fascinating finals on Saturday.
Winner of the match will qualify for next year’s Africa U17 Championship in Tanzania.
