Ghana international forward Priscilla Okyere played full throttle for Spartak Subotica when they suffered a 7-0 battering at the hands of Bayern Munich Women in the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old striker was handed a starting spot to impress against the German giants but he fired blank in the first-leg clash in the opening leg of the competition’s round of 16 stage in Serbia.
With Bayern dominating the midfied and subduing the opposition, there was little service to the Ghanaian who operated from left side of attack.
Okyere will be hoping to make positive impact in the return leg in Munich as they would attempt to overturn the scoreline in their favour.
She has two goals from three games in the competition this season.
It is expected that Ghana female national team coach Bashir Hayford settles on her to be part of Ghana squad for the 2019 CAF Women’s Nations Cup.
