Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba has been accused by Ashanti Gold CEO Dr. Kwaku Frimpong for using “JUJU” Black Magic.
Dr. Frimpong is alleging the player has been using supernatural powers to aid his form.
Yacouba has been the name on the lips of football fans in Ghana following his outstanding display for Kotoko.
The Burkinabe import who was Kotoko’s top scorer at the end of the Ghana Premier League first round sparkled when his side played Hearts of Oak in a Super two clash netting a brace for the Reds.
He also scored twice in Kotoko’s 3-2 win over Ashanti Gold in a friendly last Sunday at the Babayara Sports Stadium.
His immense form has forced the business guru to accuse him of using Black Magic.
”Asante Kotoko should warn their Striker Sogne Yacouba to stop putting juju in his football boots and in opposition’s post and play clean football. We will not allow that juju tricks at Obuasi,” he said in an interview with Nhyira FM.
The 24-year-old joined Kotoko from Malian Club Stade Malian.
