Asamoah Gyan insist the Black Stars are leaving no stone unturned as the gear up for Thursday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
Ghana welcome Sierra Leone to the Babayara Sports Stadium in a bid to secure a second win in the group.
The Black Stars must beat the Leone Stars to keep themselves on top of the group.
Gyan is buoyant his side would record a resounding victory to make up for the defeat to Kenya in the last game.
“We just got back this afternoon so we just needed to do some shakeup exercises but we didn’t do much but most of the guys are playing outside so it won’t affect our game,” he told the media after Monday’s training in Kumasi.
”We make sure we come back quickly because we lost our last game and everybody was disappointed and we are here to make the fans happy.”
“So three maximum points is very important for us and that’s all we working on.”
“Anytime we come here, the support they give us makes us happy and motivate us to give off our best. So am pleading to all Ghanaians that, they should come in their numbers to the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday to support us and I am assuring them that we will win the match to make everybody happy.”
Gyan last played for the Black Stars in the team’s 5-0 demolishing of Ethiopia in the opening group match, a game he scored to reach a milestone of 50 national team goals.
