The Black Stars will play Kotoko in a friendly after their Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone was cancelled.
CAF cancelled the game which was expected to take place at the Babayara Sports Stadium on Thursday after Sierra Leone failed to comply with FIFA’s request to reinstate FA boss Isha Johassen and General Secretary Christopher Kamara.
An official communication was sent to Ghana’s normalization committee headed by Dr. Kofi Amoah that the game will no longer come on as scheduled.
The technical handlers of the Black Stars team headed by Coach Kwesi Appiah have decided to engage Kotoko in a friendly on Friday to enable him access some players in the team.
Meanwhile CAF will take a decision whether or not to award points to Ghana after Sierra Leone failed to honour the match.
