Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei registered his name on the score-sheet for Burnley as they consigned Sheffield United to a heavy 6-0 beating in the Professional Development League on Monday.
The 21-year-old hit the back of the net with a brilliant strike in the 65th minute as the ruthless Clarets claimed a huge win over the visiting side who were seeking to go joint top of the table.
Agyei went close with a curling shot that flew just wide before the striker had a hand in the second goal after 34 minutes. Agyei’s header from a Brady corner was heading goalwards, but in a melee on the line it needed a touch from Chakwana for the ball to reach the back of the net as he quickly doubled his tally.
Agyei got himself on the scoresheet as he nodded home a perfectly delivered Brady free-kick before Brady set up Dwight McNeil, who again impressed, for a shot that hit the inside of the post.
He has now scored six (6) league goals in five appearances for Burnley in the PDL this season.
