Mukarama Abdulai for the second time running won the player of the match in Ghana’s 3-1 win over Finland.
The captain led her side to yet another important victory, a win which ensured the Africans made a fourth successive quarterfinal berth.
Abdulai scored her fourth goal of the competition from a header in Ghana’s victory over their Finnish counterparts.
The Northern Ladies forward having been honoured as the most outstanding player in the game against Uruguay where she bagged a hat-trick has scooped the accolade for the second time, becoming the first player to do so in the competition so far.
The 16-year-old is on cause to achieve her target of winning the top scorer award at this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
