Charles-Jesaja Herrmann, son of former Ghana captain C K Akunnor, got himself on the score-sheet for German U19 when they demolished Armenia U19 7-0 in an international friendly on Monday.
The talented forward, who is undecided about representing Ghana, scored the third goal for the European powerhouse in the 55th minute.
The 18-year-old was left on the bench by coach Meikel Schönweitz when they lost 1-0 to Portugal 5 days ago but he fully seized his chance to score against the minnows.
He has hit the back of the net four times for Wolfsburg U19 in the Junior Bundesliga and is on course to repeat last season’s superior performance.
Wolfsburg signed him as a free agent from Hannover 96 in 2014.
His father captained both Ghana and Wolfsburg and is regarded as one of the best Ghanaian captains of all-time.
He is currently the head coach of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
