Goalkeeper Fafali Dumahisi and defender Gladys Amfobea were excused from Wednesday’s training with illness.
The two have not been well hence could not take part in the team’s recovery training at the El Wak Stadium.
Dumahisi was a substitute goalkeeper in Tuesday’s defeat to Mali whiles Amfobea lasted the entire game.
Coach Bashiru Hayford will look forward to have the pair back before Friday’s final group match against Cameroon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Amfobea remains Ghana’s most reliable right-back in the competition however Coach Bashiru could turn attention to Cynthia Adubea who come in as an option should the former fail to recover on time.
With first choice goalkeeper Patricia Mantey already at the receiving end after committing an error in Ghana’s defeat to Mali, many have begun calls for a change which puts Fafali in contention to start in the game against Cameroon.
