Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau struck his third league goal of the season for Slovan Bratislava on Saturday afternoon as they dismantled Zilina 5-2 in the Fortuna Liga.
The 28-year-old added his name to the score-sheet with a silky finish on the 42nd minute mark at the Pasienky in Bratislava.
Slovan took a convincing 3-0 lead in the opening 40 minutes of the game but the Ghanaian increased the tally three minutes before half-time.
Young defender Benson Anang played full throttle for the losers.
He has now scored three league goals for Slovan in the ongoing season.
The former RKC Waalwijk and Westerlo defender has enjoyed an impressive season so far, playing in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League.
