Former Kotoko attacker Alex Asamoah is demanding an amount of GHC8,000 from the Club.
The striker claims he is owed by the Porcupine Warriors after the Reds failed to meet their terms of the contract.
Asamoah joined Kotoko in 2008 but struggled to live up to expectation causing his release.
The 29-year-old who is currently with Techiman Eleven Wonders wants his former employers to settle the outstanding arrears nearly a decade after leaving the Club.
“I joined Kotoko on 17th March, 2008 and I signed a 2 years contract with Kotoko in a bid of 100 million (old cedis) but they (Kotoko) still owe me 8,000gh,” he told Ash FM in Kumasi.
“I played in the Kotoko U-20 so when I was joining the senior team, I knew what the fans want so there was no fears and I did exactly what they wanted,” he added.
The former Ashanti Gold player spent two seasons with Kotoko.
