Nigerien international striker Victorien Adebayor who was linked to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko has signed for Danish Superliga side Velje BK, according Ghanaian online portal kickgh.com.
Willie Klutse, Inter Allies’ technical director, told Accra-based Asempa FM on Thursday morning that the player is still available for transfer and urged Kotoko to speed up if they want to sign him.
But, according to Kickgh Inter Allies have already traded their attacker to Velje in a loan deal.
Adebayor emerged as a transfer target for both Kotoko and Hearts following his impressive performances against Hearts and Kotoko.
Klutse confirmed Kotoko have officially called declared their interest in landing the powerful center forward who impressed for Niger at last year’s WAFU Zone B tournament.
