The Ghana FA Normalisation Committee has officially confirmed the suspension of the announcement and inauguration of its ad-hoc committees, according to a statement.
Reports in the local press claimed the Normalisation Committee had populated the improvised committees with critics of the Nyantakyi led administration, leaking names Kudjoe Fianoo, Kurt Okraku and many others.
But, in a statement released on the Ghana FA website, the Normalisation Committee has declared that it has suspended the inauguration and will announce a new date soon.
“The GFA Normalization Committee has postponed the investiture of its ad-hoc committees that will serve as the work horse for the reformation of Ghana Football. The ceremony, was initially scheduled for Thursday December 6, 2018 but has had to be rescheduled. A new date will be announced as soon as possible. Our very sincere apologies to the media and the general public. Dan Kwaku Yeboah (Spokesperson, GFA Normalization Committee),” a Normalisation Committee Statement read.
FIFA installed the Normalisation Committee to run the day to day football of the West African powerhouse and introduce reforms to the nation’s football.
