Danish-born Ghanaian forward Justin Kwabena Shaibu scored for Boreham Wood in their thrilling 4-4 away draw with Dag & Redbridge in the English National League on Saturday evening.
The 21-year-old lanky forward netted in the 35th minutes to give the visitors a 3-0 first-half lead before the hosts slowly climbed back to put the game into a draw.
Shaibu assisted the opening goal scored by English-born Nigerian Idris Kanu in the 14th minute. Femi Ilesanmi swept the ball low across the box and Dagenham failed to deal with it, instead poking it to Shaibu, who touched it to Kanu, and the striker powered it past Justham with confidence.
The next came just two minutes later, thanks to some excellent work by Shaibu. The attacker beat Ben Goodliffe on the edge of the area and drove it home, from 20-yards.
Shaibu has scored 6 league goals in 24 appearances this season for the Woods.
