Accra Hearts of Oak stepped up their preparations ahead of the Normalisation Committee Special competition by thumping lower-tier side Tudu Mighty Jets 3-0 in a test game at the club’s Pobiman training grounds on Wednesday.
Coach Kim Grant’s men roundly defeated the visitors with overly impressive show with Anthony Quayson and Joseph Esso dazzling upfront.
In-form Selasi Bless Bakai climbed off the bench to power home a header from a Alidu Namhan cross on the 43rd minute mark.
Grant made wholesome changes after the break and that produced two goals for the Phobians.
Kwadwo Obeng Jnr doubled it for the Phobians after finishing off a smart move by fellow substitute Manaf Umar in the 61st minute.
Jets were reduced to 10 men after Jamaldeen Haruna was sent off in the 71st minute for a bad play in midfield.
Abubakar Troare tabbed home the third from close range to give the Phobians a comprehensive three goal lead.
Hearts are yet to drop a point under new coach Grant in all their friendly games.
