Over 15 players are set to get a dream opportunity to play in the United States after earning selection by the Hope 4 Athletes foundation.
The two-day tryouts which took place at the St Thomas Aquinas Park saw players exhibiting their talents.
Former National stars Felix Aboagye, Yaw Preko and Yaw Acheampong who acted as scouts for the tryouts digged deep to select some brilliant individuals who stood out among the many.
Selected players will now have the opportunity to join the various High Schools, colleges and Universities in the United States where they will be enjoying a fully paid scholarship.
CEO of Hope 4 Athletes Foundation, Eric Appiah explained the motive behind the exercise.
“I think it was a very good exercise. The main focus was to give this players the opportunity to play at the same time study in the States,”he said.
“The talents we saw here was great and am very impressed. All the players displayed quality football but at the end we can only select just a few.”
The tryouts session will however be organised periodically to poach more talents in the country.
