Ghanaian midfielder Manfred Osei Kwadwo climbed off the bench to score the match-winner for Magdeburg as they posted a 2-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in a club friendly on Monday.
The 23-year-old was introduced as part of wholesome changes made by the winners in the 59th minute and he scored 20 minutes later to seal the win for the hosts.
Osei Kwadwo joined Magdeburg in the summer from Kaiserslautern as a free agent. But, he has featured in just one league game for them.
He will be hoping that his off-the-bench performance against the Bundesliga side will influence his manager to hand him more playing time in the German Bundesliga II.
