The Cairo International Stadium, Air Force Stadium, Port Said Stadium, Ismailia Stadium, Suez Sport Stadium and Alexandria Stadium will host this year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The six stadia were confirmed by the Egyptian FA to host the 67 matches.
Egypt was handed the hosting rights after Cameroon (initial host) were stripped off for non-compliance with the specifications.
The North African country will be hosting the competition for the first time since 2006 where they hosted and won.
Fourteen out of the 24 teams expected to compete have already qualified.
Egypt( host) have been joined by debutants Madagascar and Mauritania, Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, Algeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Morocco, Uganda, Mali,Ivory Coast and Kenya with eight more slots available for grabs.
