Football is set to return after the Sports Ministry together with the Parliamentary select committee for Sports and Culture met with the Normalization Committee and the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) over the cancellation of the Special Competition.
The various bodies held a closed door meeting on Monday to discuss an imminent start of the special competition which was initially cancelled after the Normalization committee and the Ghana Premier League Clubs failed to reach an agreement.
A statement released by the Sports Ministry indicates a new date will be announce for the competition to begin after all stakeholders agreed terms.
Meanwhile reports indicates a new committee have been set-up to take charge of the impending special competition.
