Ghanaian youngster Dauda Mohammed wants to follow the steps of Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan, arguably remains one of Ghana’s most celebrated footballers having played a huge role for the Black Stars.
The attacker, currently the all-time top scorer and most capped for the Ghana national team is on the verge of calling it a quit having played at three successive FIFA World Cups with the Black Stars.
His huge achievement has eventually made him a role model for Dauda who has been touted as a great prospect for Ghana.
“My big idol is Asamoah Gyan, the captain of the Ghanaian national team. He was the African with the most goals at the World Cup and is the top scorer of all times of the Ghanaian team,” he told the De Telegraaf.
The 21-year-old recently joined Dutch eredivisie side Vitesse on loan from Belgian giants Anderlecht.
