Kassim Nuhu will not be available for Hoffenheim when they take on Borussia Dortmund this weekend.
The center-back has been ruled out of selection despite making a late return to training.
Kassim returned to group training after missing his side’s League matches against Freiburg and Fortuna Dusseldorf with injury.
The 23-year-old joined his teammates as they practiced on Thursday but will not be included in the team to face Dortmund.
The defender is expected to regain full match fitness according to his manager.
“For Joelinton, I’m assuming that he’ll be good enough for Saturday, with some liquid removed from his toe,” Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann said at a press conference on Thursday.
“Kasim Adams and Robin Hack got back into training yesterday but will not be able to play.
“Likewise Kevin Vogt who has a thigh strain.”
Julian Nagelsmann is likely to name him in the team’s next League match against Hannover 96 at home.
The Ghanaian international has so far made seven League appearances for the German Club this season.
