Kotoko remains the top ranked Ghanaian Club in Africa, according to FootballDatabase system.
The Porcupine Warriors despite missing out among the top 20 ranked Clubs on the continent are placed 35th, which makes them the most recognized Ghanaian Club.
The former Africa Champions fell behind the likes of Al Ahly, TP Mazembe, Esperance de Tunis, Al Hilal, Etoile du Sahel among others.
Kotoko’s fears rivals Hearts of Oak were ranked 98th in Africa, falling behind Ashanti Gold, Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea.
Egyptian giants and eleven-time African Champions Al Ahly are the top ranked side in Africa, Congolese powerhouse TP Mazembe. Esperance de Tunis, Al Merreikh, and Etoile du Sahel makes the top five sides in Africa.
Kotoko are currently Ghana’s sole representative in Africa playing in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
The Ghana Premier League record holders are in Zambia to face Nkana FC in the third round of group matches on Sunday.
