Al Jazira winger Ernest Asante has received his first call-up to the Black Stars team at age 30.
The ex-Ghana U17 star has been knocking on the doors since his time in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Asante, a product of the Feyenoord Academy now (WAFA) has been making the headlines in the Arabian Gulf League where he has bagged five goals in 15 games for his Club.
He gets a national team call-up for the first time since 2005 when he featured for the Ghana U17 side at the FIFA u17 World Cup in Peru.
A good output in the game against Kenya could secure him a place in the Ghana squad for this year’s Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
