AFC Wimbledon striker Kwesi Appiah is privileged to have earned a call-up to the Black Stars after three years.
The striker last received an invite in March 2016 for a Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique, a game he failed to feature due to injury.
Appiah has since failed to make the cut to the national team due to his injury woes.
After a good run in the English League one this, the former Crystal Palace attacker has been invited for Ghana’s final Cup of Nations game against Kenya.
“Honoured to receive the call up! #Blackstars “If god is for us, who can be against us” Romans 8:31,” he tweeted.
The 26-year-old has scored once in six appearances for the Black Stars.
