Frank Acheampong’s 93rd minute goal handed Tianjin Teda a vital win over Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super League.
The Ghanaian international got his first of the season with a late strike as the game looked to be heading to a draw.
Guangzhou R&F came from behind after Gui Hong, Eran Zehavi and Moussa Dembele cancelled goals from Mirahmetjan Muzepper, Xie Weijun and Johnathan.
With the game almost ending in a stalemate, Acheampong intervened to score the match-winner in added on time for the host who picked valuable points.
The attacker once again proved to be the reliable asset for Tianjin Teda who secured their first victory of the season after three matches.
