Ghanaian-born Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has received his maiden invite to England’s U21 team ahead of friendlies against Poland and Germany.
Hudson-Odoi who notably has represented England at U17 level has been given a notch higher by getting a call-up by Aidy Boothroyd.
The teenager has already made sixteen appearances for Chelsea this season with increasing reports linking him to German Champions Bayern Munich.
His latest call-up still keeps Ghana’s ambitious hopes of luring him from his country of birth.
The 18-year-old is born to Ghanaian parents with his senior brother Bradley Hudson Odoi already pledging his allegiance to his native country (Ghana).
He was in the England squad that won the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.
