Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan believes his side have performed beyond imagination in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup competition.
Having expressed interest in participating in Africa, the Porcupine Warriors received lots of backlashes from a session of football enthusiasts in the country.
Kotoko, who initially targeted to reach the Money zone, are now on the verge of making it out of the Group should they defeat ZESCO United away from home in their final group match.
Felix Annan, who is highly impressed has rated his side’s performance above average.
“I would give our performance so far 8/10. The playing body has done a great job so far because prior to this campaign many did not believe in our abilities largely due to lack of competitive football on the Ghanaian domestic front,” he spoke to CAFonline.com.
“It’s been a great journey and we are looking beyond Zesco to extend our continued stay in the competition.”
Kotoko touched down in Zambia on Thursday for their final Group match against ZESCO United on Sunday.
