Medeama SC have agreed to play the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.
The Mauves and Yellow had initially announced their intention to withdraw from the competition after citing some unfavorable conditions.
A meeting with the Normalization Committee has seen the issue resolved.
The Club have now decided to participate in the 16-team competition which is expected to kick off next weekend.
The Normalization Committee organized the special competition to keep players active after all football activities were halted.
This forms part of the committee’s plans to help normalize football in the country after getting the mandate from the World Football governing body (FIFA) to replace the Ghana Football Executive Committee.
