Ghanaian club Bofoakwa Tano have tied up sponsorship deals with five indigenous companies specifically for the Ghana FA Normalisation Special Competition, the club has announced.
The second-tier league side announced the deals on Thursday morning.
Clubs in the periphery aside major forces in Ghanaian football have had it hard attracting sponsors but the new direction and dynamism introduced by Bofoakwa’s leadership is drawing sponsors close to the club.
According to Ghana Sports Online sources Bofoakwa will continue to link up with the four companies for the period of the NC Special Competition.
Rosenburg Smoothies, based in Sunyani, becomes the club’s official beverage partners before, during and after home games while Tasty Home Kitchen has also come on board and as such will take care of player dieting.
IZAY K filtered drinking water is now the official sachet water firm and would supply free drinking water. The company would benefit by being the only purified water company allowed to transact business at match venues.
Freez Motion have signed an agreement to become the club’s official photographic firm in the period of the competition.
The deal becomes a stepping stone for the club in attracting major sponsorship deals in the future if they are able to offer the right mileage and keep to their obligations in the deals.
The deal is a city record as no club in the municipality has announced five sponsorship deals ahead of a competition, beating city-rivals B. A United who are yet to announce any deal.
