Former Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh has denied accepting a coaching post at Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.
The soft-spoken 62-year-old is currently on the books of Tamale City FC.
Media reports linked the 2009 gold-winning FIFA U20 World Cup coach taking over the reigns at Bechem United’s U17 side for a tournament in the USA but he has denied the reports.
“It’s never true that I’ve signed for or in talk with Bechem United. I’ve been called by Agama (Owner of Bechem Utd) who is a good friend of mine to help manage their U17 to a tournament in USA. As I am speaking, I’m in Tamale preforming my duties as the head coach for Tamale City,” he told Kumasi-based Otec FM.
The former Hearts of Oak player has managed Liberty Professionals, Rwanda and Sierra Leone since leading Ghana to win gold at the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup tournament in Egypt.
