Former Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure believes countryman Songne Yacouba is yet to equal his achievement with the Porcupine Warriors.
The 31-year-old (Toure) was a household name at Kotoko, a Club he spent three different spells.
The former Ghana Premier League top scorer reached greater heights with the Reds helping them to clinch the domestic League title.
A session of Kotoko fans have been comparing him (Toure) to their new talisman Yacouba who has been making the headlines since arriving at the Club.
Toure insists his compatriot is yet to match the legacy he left at Kotoko.
“Yacouba hasn’t done even a half of what I did for Asante Kotoko, it’s not the same because have won the best player in Ghana, have scored a lot of goals for Kotoko even won the goalking,” Toure spoke to Silver fm in Kumasi.
“I’ve done a lot of things for Kotoko that Yacouba is yet to do, so it’s incomparable”
“But I’m praying he overtakes what have done for Kotoko because he’s a good player and he’s like my young boy.”
The former Africa Sports striker returned to his native country (Cote d’ Ivoire) and joined ASEC Mimosa having last played for Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.
