Aduana Stars have been banned from using the Nana Agyemang Badu Park until further notice.
This follows assaults metted at match officials during their NC Special Cup against Medeama SC.
Fans of Aduana Stars threw missiles and objects at the match officials and further held them hostage at the end of the game for what they described as bad officiating after their team drew 1-1 with Medeama on Wednesday.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee released a statement confirming an indefinite ban on the Club from playing at their favorite ground.
”The Normalisation Committee of the Ghana Football has ordered a TEMPORARY RAN on Aduana Stars FC from using the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park as its home venue with immediate effect,” the statement reads.
”The decision has become necessary due to the unfortunate incident that occurred during Match Day Seven between Aduana Stars FC and Medeama SC played on Wednesday, 24th May 2019.”
The Committee meanwhile are expected to announce a new venue for the former Ghana Champions.
The NC Special Competition meanwhile continues this weekend at the various centres.
