Albert Adomah’s controversial late goal earned Aston Villa a 1-1 draw with Leeds United in the English Championship.
The Ghanaian was allowed to plant the ball unchallenged after weird scenes at the Villa Park.
Leeds United Mateusz Klich scored first for the visitors when the Villa defense opted not to challenge their opponents for the ball following a foul on striker Jonathan Kodjia. Kodjia was fouled by Laim however Leeds United refused to adhere to the fair play as they scored.
In a heated action on the pitch between the two sides, Leeds United Coach Marcelo Bielsa ordered his players to allow Villa to equalize which eventually saw Albert Adomah walking the ball straight into the net unchallenged.
The draw ends Villa’s 10 game winning run and also puts them in the playoffs.
Adomah came off the bench to replace Andre Green in the 68th minute.
