Ashanti Gold Coach Svetislav Tanasijevic is unhappy with the performance of center referee Charles Bulu in Wednesday’s NC Special Cup defeat to Kotoko.
The Serbian believes Kotoko secured a win over his side due to the aid of the match official.
Charles Bulu in the second half of the game ignored a penalty call from AshGold after Umar Outtarra was “caught up” in the penalty box by Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan.
Tanasijevic has lamented over the defeat insisting the match official did them no favor in the game.
“If Asante Kotoko is a big club why are referees always helping them?
“We had a clear penalty he ignored. I’m extending an invitation to the referee into our dressing room just to observe how my boys are shedding tears, knowing he caused our loss.”
Kotoko with the victory maintain their top spot in the Northern Zone with 9points from three matches.
Ashanti Gold on the other hand drop from the second spot to fourth with 5points.
